La Jolla Mural Walk

Both our president and vice president had the chance to visit the La Jolla Athenaeum Music & Arts Library and were greeted by several showcases and exhibitions of artworks from local San Diego artists and youths. To our delight, we were able to examine the 2017 San Diego Prize pieces including Rizzhel Javier's before it closes this Saturday. Rizzhel has been an enormous support to our organization, and our students find her classes at CSU San Marcos to be refreshing and encouraging.

Our vice president, Kimberly, interacting with Rizzhel's piece, flipping through several compilations of small photographic prints.

After visiting the Athenaeum, we journeyed around the alleyways of La Jolla, sightseeing the murals and public art sculptures while on a guided tour.
