Waste & Recycle Bins Upgrade

Summer is here and new students are pouring into the university as graduation boils over. As our university welcomes these new students, it aims to provide the best experiences possible to make CSU San Marcos like a second home to their community.

We would like to contribute our efforts into welcoming prospective students (as well as refreshing our campus image for our current students) by creating and posting original works to a vital resource to our campus: trashcans.

By teaming up with Energy Management & Utility Service, a department of University Services Building, we will be gathering our creative student artists to be updating the signage of every Big Belly Solar trashcans seen scattered all around our campus.

We're excited to help out and get student work out there and further inspiring student artists to make a change in our community. New designs and original works will be released by the beginning of the fall semester. Until then, we will be going on a summer field trip to a new pop-up exhibition in San Diego known as Wonderspaces, which as been known to dazzle audiences throughout the nation. So, be sure to check out our future entry for an upcoming video and several beautiful photographs of the incredible exhibition!
